5* Things That You Now Know About Me

#1 - I started a blog in January and still have not posted a thing. My intention was to start it off with some sort of introductory post about why I wanted to start blogging, blah, blah, blah. Eleven months later that hasn't happened.

Basically, I wanted a place to be a little more transparent about what I'm about and what struggles I'm facing. I do smile a lot and am mostly happy but I don't want to put off an image that I am perfect or that I don't have struggles. I do.

#2 - The mere fact that I was given the number 5 was almost enough that I couldn't do this activity. You see, I'm sort of OCD about numbers. I am much better than I was when I was younger. I have a thing about 4, my favorite number is 6 and then I favor evens over odds. Period. All of this together makes finding a radio station painful. When I was younger it would take me ages to make things in the microwave because I would use it in small increments at a time. Then receiving the number 5, just between my faves 4 and 6 and an odd number, yeah, this post almost didn't happen. BUT when you multiple 5 by 2 (even) you get 10 which is EVEN - so BOOM.

#3 - My middle name is Fawn, like a baby deer. Not a clue why.

#4 - Despite my weirdness with numbers, I am realizing that I am horribly out of practice at math daily. Basic. Math. Adding the weight on my bar is taxing - maybe it's the lack of sleep. Hopefully, it's the lack of sleep. Someday I'd like to help my 1st grader with homework.
Another side note about numbers is that sometimes it messes with my sets working out. For instance, 21-15-9,  seriously CrossFit? Mine might sometime look more like 22-14-10 but who is  counting!?!

#5 - I'm an only child and was raised by a single mom who worked a lot. That equaled quite a bit of alone time which I was okay with. My freshman year of college I was paired with a twin in the smallest room of campus. I almost died. Did I mention her twin wasn't even on campus and she was homesick a lot. I'm sure she was lovely, but did I mention I almost died? I need privacy. Frequently.
Sidenote: No, I don't think I missed out on much growing up as an only child. However, now as a grown up (term used lightly) I think having a sister or brother would be helpful.

#6 -  I have been to a few countries: USA, Mexico, England, Ireland, Germany, Holland and Belgium.

P.S.
See what I did there?
